From Tulagi through the steamy jungles of the Solomon Islands the unseen enemy, the jungle itself cast its evil shadow over the men of the U.S.S. Largo and the Marine Raiders. They enter a world that no white man had ever dared to set foot in.

You will follow these men as they emerge from this green hell, as the fiery outline of Peleliu rises over the horizon. The distant roar of battle will reach up from the page, mingling with the cries of the wounded.

The young men of the Largo, now harden men will look into your heart, and soul with the eyes of their youth. You will clearly hear Mad Dog and La Salle giving orders as Commander Hamilton navigates his ship, the U.S.S. Largo, closer to shore to support the Navy Demolition teams, as they swim ashore under intense fire.
